Vital Assess is a workplace health and people-management platform designed to help employers support employee wellbeing, manage sickness absence and create clearer, more structured return-to-work processes.

We believe workplace health should be easier to manage and easier for employees to understand. Too often, sickness absence, wellbeing support, return-to-work conversations and employee health resources sit across different systems, documents and providers. Vital Assess brings these areas together in one secure platform.

Our aim is to help employers move beyond simply recording absence. Vital Assess supports the wider employee journey — from the moment someone becomes unwell, through their period of absence, to their return to work and any ongoing support they may need.

Why Vital Assess was created

Vital Assess was founded by Liam, an HCPC-registered paramedic with more than a decade of experience working within the ambulance sector.

Throughout his clinical career, Liam saw first-hand how health problems can affect people both personally and professionally. He also recognised how difficult it can be for employers to support staff appropriately when sickness absence, health concerns, workplace adjustments and return-to-work processes are managed separately.

Vital Assess was created to bridge that gap.

By combining practical HR tools with a strong focus on employee health and wellbeing, Vital Assess aims to give organisations a more joined-up way to support their workforce.
